Get a higher card total than the dealer without going over 21. If you or the dealer exceeds 21, that's a "Bust" – the busted side loses automatically.
Number cards (2–10) are worth face value. Face cards (J, Q, K) are worth 10. An Ace (A) counts as either 1 or 11 — whichever works in your favour.
